Getting around Bodrum is very easy and inexpensive. Buses (dolmus) are plentiful and they will stop anywhere on the road to pick you up and drop you off, taxis are also easy to pick up, with a Taxi call button outside the complex direct to Taxi Rank. Bodrums Waterpark and Oasis shopping centre are nearby (10 mins), here you will be able to wine and dine in open air restaurants, shop until you drop or watch a latest movie in English. Markets are held in Bodrum and surrounding towns everyday of the week. Remember to haggle as its expected, the best buys are jewellery, leather, crystal and clothes. Whilst shopping you may find that the locals will offer you some Turkish Tea (Cay)-try it, its lovely. For the party animals Bodrum has the biggest open air disco in Europe called Halikarnos, or why not try the disco catamaran which leaves Bodrum´s marina nightly, and returns approx 5am!!! Bodrum Marina - here you will be able to take boat trips to other parts of Turkey, day trips to Kos and fishing trips. Bodrum´s (St Peters) castle is situated by the Marina and is Bodrums most distinctive landmark. There are many sights to see in Bodrum, I have listed a few here. Amphi-theatre is situated in the hillside overlooking Bodrum, it is now used an an open air museum. Full balance is required 8 weeks prior to departure date. • 100.00 gbp returnable deposit is required when full balance is paid for any loss or damage to the apartment and will be refunded on your return. • Discounts available for long term lets. Change over day flexible. Late bookings also possible. • Apartments are available from 2pm on day of arrival, the apartment must be vacated by 10.00am on the day of departure.
